Brazil Foundation Ballet Paraisopolis 
Hello everyone,
I would like to introduce you to The Ballet Paraisópolis.
Ballet Paraisópolis is a ballet school for children located in Paraisopolis, the second largest slum in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Created in 2012 by a Brazilian dancer named Monica Terrago, the company gives opportunities to the children from the community to learn music and dance. Regina believes that through art and education the children grow and find better opportunities in life.
Currently, the Ballet Paraisópolis has a total of 200 students enrolled, and another one thousand waitlisted.
Ballet Paraisopolis is one of the organizations selected this year by The Brazil Foundation, a large organization benefitting thousands of families and communities all over Brazil.
My family and I have supported Brazil Foundation for many years. I am truly inspired by people like Monica Terrago and Leona Forman, founder of this organization.
Just like Monica, I believe that education is the key to help countries like Brazil fight violence, poverty and grow economically. You all know how passionate I am for dance and the performing arts.
I am so excited to help the Ballet Paraisopolis
