Baptiste Family House Fire Relief

Luke’s Mom here again. Today, Luke and Sarah spent the day in Ojai to check out the true extent of the damage. The photo below is Sarah in front of the fireplace on Christmas Day a year ago. 

And this is what it looks like today:

It is truly heart wrenching; I thought I was cried out until hearing from them tonight! 
Sarah and Luke (and the  dogs) are safe and temporarily staying in Santa Monica, being brave but feeling devastated tonight.

I believe they held out hope that there would be something they could salvage, but the fire did indeed take their home, possessions and  Christmas. It’s still smoldering.  

 Last year at Christmas we were all in Ojai at Luke and Sarah’s.


We were all going to gather there again this year. But there’s no “there” there. 
So . . . they have to begin again. I started this fund because so many of you have asked me to do so, because you want to help.  So many of you have already given generously. THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to read this, share this, and help if you’re able.
All funds donated will go towards buying clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances and supplies, bedding, food, and other necessities. They also need funds to afford a new place to live.
