Welcome to Bashar's Charity. Bashar is currently trapped in Gaza with his family of 6. My name is Evleen Zeidan and I reside in Victoria BC Canada. I have created this fundraiser for my family, and chosen little brother living in Gaza enduring the horrifying occupation and soulless attacks. As you know, the condition in Gaza is unprecedented whilst the IOF maniacally bomb Gazans, displacing more than 2.9 million Palestinians since October 7th 2023. We are nearly through to month 10. Since the 'start' of the extreme horror. This is tragedy that is way too familiar to the people of Palestine. This escalation in violence is sociopathic and sickening to say the least. Within those 2.9 millions who have been exiled from their homes, living as hostages on their own land in an open air prison with an illegal, illegitimate wall blocking Gazan, Palestinians the sheer human dignity of being connected to the world, normally to share the equal rights of the land and have a chance to migrate. The extremist regime bulldozez forward, without enforced consequence as of yet. THIS IS WRONG. Murdering over 180 thousand Palestinians, children, men and women is a crime... Thousands of innocent civilians that are missing and thousands more injured and displaced. How can we accept innocent civilians being starved by blocking aid through illegitimate checks? This is a horrifying nightmare.

Bashar was in his 5th year at the University of Palestine pursuing his degree in Pharmacy and was due to graduate this past, late spring, 2024.

UP, has now been destroyed, completely reduced to nothing. A school, once a safe haven and a place to dream of a bright future now becomes a lifelong trauma which we must not sit back and watch happen.

Bashar and his loved ones are of course currently seeking refuge with millions who are continuously moved from town to town. The understanding of what this is hasn't been clearer than it is now as Bashar cannot go home. This charity is to secure his future to help himself and his family find refuge and assist him in finding a path to complete his degree as well. I will also express that his skills are not only in Medicine. Bashar is a talented visual artist who has formed his own original brand, Dar Bashar

It is so overwhelmingly sorrowful in my soul and heart breaking to know that this year was meant to be his most rewarding of experiences along with his family, friends and community to celebrate together. A time when he was anticipating his long hours of waking up at 4am, 5am and 6am to commute to university, help care for his family and all the other countless ways he's persevered to be worth all the effort over the years. To reach this point, trapped in this manner, held back from his long earnest goal. This is why I need your support to help me find a path to Bashar's freedom along with many others he will bring along his and his family's path to safety.

I believe we as a community can fundraise financial aid for Bashar and his family for them to have the much needed support. It is so terrible and horrifying to see what has happened. Bashar and his families trauma recovery from these attacks will take years to heal from and I need us all to help with this.

All of the funds that are fundraised will be sent to Bashar Alimoor via MoneyGram to Bashars older brother Mounib Alimoor currently living in Washington, who is witnessing the devastation from overseas, helpless and at a loss of options about his families circumstances.. I have been sending to Bashars older brother what has been fundraised regularly and continue to transfer funds as they are collected. We have done this process to ensure the money fundraised for Bashar and his families stays with his family to transfer to Bashar when there is a capacity to withdraw funds within Gaza, Palestine.
