Bashar in Gaza - Emergency Funds

Donation protected
Hi everyone ❤️

Welcome to Bashar's Charity. My name is Evleen Zeidan and I reside in Victoria BC Canada. Please let me tell you a little about Bashar and myself. I virtually met Bashar in 2020 through our creative arts mediums (me singing and him as a graphic designer and talented digital artist). Bashar Alimoor grew up in Gaza and to this day is currently trapped in Gaza with his family with the exception of his older brother, Moneeb living in the USA. Over the years, we formed a pen pal like friendship as I learned more about his living conditions and academic ambitions, studying to become a Pharmacist in hopes to graduate from the University of Palestine. Bashar has become like a little brother, witnessing his pursuits to complete his degree which he has fought tirelessly for through this entire time in Gaza. I have created this fundraiser for Bashar living in Gaza, enduring the horrifying genocide. The goal of this fundraiser is to assist Bashar to complete his payments for his Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and Biotechnology in the Health and Sciences faculty from UOP - which he officially graduated online from University of Palestine this past November 2024! Donations will also pay for a masters program tuition and living/transport expenses for Bashar to experience safety and achieve his dreams! Transfers from his fundraiser will be sent from my name to Moneeb Alimoor who is Bashar's older brother, living in Baltimore, USA. Once we have identified a safe exit for Bashar out of Gaza, the money will be sent to Bashar from Moneeb through MoneyGram or wire transfer to Bashar's Bank of Palestine account. We pray for these options to be available and for these attacks on Palestinians to end. We have achieved a great success of over $2.1K in CAD donated. We thank you all for your support and look forward to updating you further in the New Year. We pray for resolutions and rescue options to become apparent as soon as possible so that we can see Bashar's dreams met.

As you know, the condition in Gaza is unprecedented whilst the IOF maniacally bomb Gazans, displacing more than 2.9 million Palestinians since October 6th 2023. We are now 1 year and 2 months into an escalation of genocide. Since the 'start' of the extreme horror. This is tragedy that is way too familiar to the people of Palestine.

Within the 2.9 million Gaza, Palestinian's who have been exiled from their homes, living as hostages on their own land in an open air prison with an illegal, illegitimate wall blocking Gaza's and illegal settlement multiplying by the day have left the indigenous people of Palestine to suffer. The Palestinian people have the right to self determination, they have the right to safety and the sheer human dignity of being connected to the world, normally to share the equal rights of the land and have a chance to migrate freely. The extremist regime bulldozez forward, without enforced consequence as of yet. THIS IS WRONG. Murdering over 180 thousand Palestinians, children, men and women is a crime... Thousands of innocent civilians that are missing and thousands more sexually assaulted, tortured, targeted and displaced. How can we accept innocent civilians being starved by blocking aid through illegitimate checks? This is a horrifying nightmare.

Bashar, his siblings and parents are unable to escape without our support. Please consider contributing even $5. We are the global community, advocating for their safety and security.

Furthermore: A Journey of Resilience and Hope

Bashar, a dedicated student and aspiring pharmacy graduate, completed his 5th year at the University of Palestine October 2024. Despite facing unimaginable challenges and living amidst ongoing violence, displacement, unstable internet connection and food scarcity, Bashar has remained steadfast in his pursuit of education. Now, as he and his family navigate the aftermath of recent tragic events, we as a community have an opportunity to support them in their recovery and to help Bashar achieve his dreams.

A Student's Commitment to a Brighter Future:
From his early days at the University of Palestine, Bashar displayed a passion for learning and an unwavering commitment to his field. During his 2nd year in 2021, he excelled in coursework while navigating the challenges of student life in Gaza. In 2022, he worked diligently in the pharmaceutical industry laboratory, honing his skills for the profession he so deeply loves. By his 4th year in 2023, Bashar was ready to step into the future alongside his Class of 2024, who were all set to graduate this summer.

However, due to the ongoing devastation in Gaza, Bashar and his family have been left struggling for basic needs and emotional recovery. Their trauma will take years to heal, and their financial resources have been severely strained.

Bashar's Higher Education Aspirations:
Despite these obstacles, Bashar remains hopeful about continuing his education. He dreams of pursuing his higher education in pharmaceutical sciences, a goal he hopes to achieve. However, to make this a reality, he needs financial assistance to cover tuition and living expenses.

How You Can Help:
Your contributions will go directly to Bashar and his family, providing them with the financial aid they urgently need. Funds will be transferred via MoneyGram to Bashar’s older brother, who resides in Washington. Mounib ensures that all donations are safely managed and will be used to support Bashar and his family as they regain stability.

Your support will not only help cover Bashar’s tuition and educational expenses but also provide his family with the means to rebuild their lives. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.

Free Palestine, Free My Little Brother

With love and solidarity,
Bashar in his 3rd year 2022 in the pharmaceutical industry laboratory, University of Palestine.

Funds Distribution:
All of the funds that are fundraised will be sent from my name to Bashar Alimoor's older sibling Moneeb Alimoor, currently living in Baltimore USA, who is witnessing the devastation from overseas, helpless and at a loss of options about his families circumstances. I send Bashars donations to Mounib regularly and continue to transfer funds as they are collected. We have done this process to keep the donations with Moneeb to ensure the donations fundraised for Bashar and his siblings and parents stays with family. Bashar's brother will safeguard Bashar's donations and transfer funds to Bashar when there is a capacity to withdraw funds within Gaza, Palestine or anywhere Bashar is evacuated to. I am happy to act as a vehicle for the Alimoor family by supporting navigating Bashars GofundMe in hopes to ease the burden of genocide and to support them throughout this horrible reality

Thank you for your love and support.

Warmly on behalf of Bashar,

Ev
