Beat It With Bella

Bella's battle started in March 2015 where she was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis.

The cancer begins in LCH cells which is a type of dendritic cell which fights infection.
Certain factors affect prognosis (chance of recovery) and treatment options. Bella has multi system LCH which means her LCH spreads to organs and bones, currently it is in her lungs and leg bones.
Bella's cancer was first found in her thyroid after a partial thyroidectomy surgery. And after many differnt scans of Bella's body it was also discovered all through her lungs and her spine. Bella's whole life turned upside down in a matter of days. She was getting surgery for her chemotherapy port and starting chemo right away. The first chemo seemed to be doing the job. There was no cancer cells showing in her thyroid or spine after many rounds of chemo. But unfortunately some chemotherapy's stop working over time and for Bella that was the case. The cancer spread to her leg bones. Bella just completed her 79th round of chemo and is on her 3rd different type of chemotherapy and the most harsh thus for. Bella's cancer is still in her lungs and leg bones. A family friend is hosting a fundraising event for Bella in our local community but we have been asked by family and friends who do not live close if there is another way for them to participate in the fundraising event which prompted this GoFundme page. Our goal is to raise money to help pay co-pays and medical related expenses for Bella.
