Dear friends, family, and kind strangers-

I hope that you can forgive me for unveiling a difficult chapter in my life:

Just a little over a month ago my life completely changed when I had a massive heart attack. I am forever grateful for my dedicated team of healthcare workers at St. David’s for getting me stabilized. The widow maker didn’t take me that time, but when I wasn’t careful with the sodium content in preserved “healthy” foods, I had to return to the hospital last weekend. It’s been rough and two visits to the hospital have been enough.

The journey thereafter has been fraught with pain, insecurities, and massive financial pressures as my health condition has prevented me from returning to work. This is why I am reaching out to you today. My road to recovery will be slow, and while I know there may be more bumps along the way, I am fully committed to getting stronger and healthier than ever.
