Bellaire High Volleyball
Bellaire High School’s Volleyball Team is one of the most elite high school volleyball programs in Houston. We currently have a total of 43 players on our Varsity, JV and Freshman teams.
The Bellaire Cardinal Volleyball program needs your help! As you know, funding across public school for sports and extracurricular activities is extremely limited plus funding from the Houston Independent School District for Volleyball has been nearly eliminated. Our program participates in tournaments during the season that HISD does not financially support so we must cover our own entry fees and referee costs. Even the cost of uniforms must be funded by support outside of our school budget. As a result, we need to turn to our family and friends so these talented young ladies can play consistently at the highest possible level. A sample of our costs are below:
$120.00 Uniform & Backpack Set for One Player
$2000.00 Tournament Fees
$1100.00 Support Equipment
$800.00 Officiating Fees

Without this funding, the Lady Cardinal Volleyball would not be competitive. The Bellaire Cardinal Volleyball teams has won district 15 times in the last 16 years, making the playoffs in each of the last 16 years. Head Volleyball Coach, Ap Clarke, notched her 500th match win while at Bellaire High School last season. She has been named District 20-6A Coach of the Year 14 times.
