Beyond Rubies - Empowering the girl child globally

Help us kick off Beyond Rubies (BR); BR organises FREE girl child empowerment events. We will organise seminars, educational talks, Q&A sessions and bootcamps for females regardless of their social class as these events are crucial in empowering every girl child globally. We don't want 'event fees' to be a barrier in her being aware of all her potentials.
We contact some of the most seasoned female leaders in each geographical area and bring girls together to learn from them. We teach, mentor, empower and invest in every girl child we come in contact with.
At BR, we have a burden for empowering the girl child globally. We want to see more women participate in economic development activities and as such we believe in reinforcing the right attitude in every girl child so she can access the right opportunities she has available.
Gender equality will remain an idea or an ideal if nothing is done to empower the girl child and help her overcome the battle she fights in her mind. The aim is also to encourage the girl child to implement solutions that will end gender inequality and empower her to add value to society.
We are hosting our first event in Lagos, Nigeria and we need your support to make this possible.
*The money raised through this campaign will help us educate 30 female students in attendance in a unique way that isn't covered in their educational curriculum. Through your support they would be able to learn from very seasoned ladies who have gone ahead of them and succeeded. Your donation will enable BR plan the event and purchase educational materials which will be provided to all attendees. We have tagged the first event RIDING ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS. This event will be free for all attendees and we know they will benefit immensely from it. *
Our mission is to make every girl child know she is worth more than rubies and help her act in this reality.
This inaugural event which we are fundraising for will include talks from renowned ladies succeeding in various works of life and who are willing to share their stories with the girls in attendance. We at BR believe these talks, Q&A sessions and Panel sessions will leave every girl present challenged to reach beyond the skies.
