Fight like a Rinn

William Joseph Rinn VI (Billy) has recently been diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer that has now moved throughout his body. Up to this point, Billy has had a cancerous mass removed from his abdomen and doctors plan to remove others from his lymph nodes and lungs. While treatments and tests will continue with Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA temporarily, treatments and immunotherapy will eventually take place at Memorial Sloan Kettering hospital in New York, NY.

Those who know Billy, know a positive, fun, outgoing and charismatic man who lights up a room with his presence, his laughter and his energy. He is a bright spot in anyone’s day, the glue that brings and holds people together, and the brother that everyone has, because he is just that friendly and welcoming. Billy is a beloved husband, father, brother, son, and friend; a TSA agent and a Navy dad.

There is no one mentally stronger or more capable of fighting this battle, and no one more deserving of overcoming it, than Billy Rinn.

To allow him to focus without the worry and stress of any financial burden, we call on his exceptional network of family, friends and co-workers to lend support. Let’s ensure Billy, his wife Cherie, and their three sons, William (VII), Jaxon and Ayden, have access to everything they need to fight this battle together.
