Bishopbriggs Academy PPE 3D printing
Donation protected
Staff at Bishopbriggs Academy Design Technology Department are using 3D printing and cutting equipment to produce PPE visors for local HNS and care staff who are at the front line in treating COVID 19 patients.
Thanks to staff and parents making contacts with suppliers, initial raw materials have been sourced. The aim is to make 1000 visors.
The cost of these materials is considerable and it would be fantastic if you would consider making a donation to help the school reach their target.
COVID 19 is a global pandemic and time is of the essence is getting vital protective equipment to the staff that need it most.
PPE produced at Bishopbriggs Academy will be donated to staff at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, local care homes and front line health and social care staff in East Dunbartonshire.
Thanks in advance!
