Black History Month SUPPORT The Black Experience

Black History Is All Our History. This month is a time to learn from black educators. To amplify and listen to black voices painting the powerful and successful portraits of people of color. The Black Experience provides an inclusive catalog capturing, chronicling, and sharing diverse experiences and moving stories. Each and every one of us embody deep and beautiful roots, but the stories of so many individuals, families, and communities often go untold. We are committed to changing this narrative for the greater good of all, but we cannot do it alone!
With 600 school partners across the US to date, our audience desires to learn from accomplished people of color who look like them and know the power and benefit of a shared experience. TBE's audience is made up of students, school partners, educators, mentors, historians, entrepreneurs, inquiring minds, environmentalists, humanitarians, activists, and change-agents young and old. Our supporters are interconnected as equally as they are ambitious. Representing a passion to educate themselves and others in putting an end to systemic racism. The commonality our community shares is an alertness to the importance of creating a successful experience for all of humanity's future.
We have built a global community representing over 120 countries thanks to an incredible response to our Youtube Channel. Since launching in February 2020, we are proud and humbled to have surpassed 2 million views and 10,000 subscribers. They represent a diverse group of people seeking inspiration with a hunger to learn from the rich experiences of pioneering leaders in their fields and careers they never could have imagined before.
In 1976, President Gerald R. Ford officially recognized Black History Month, calling upon the public to “seize the opportunity to honor the too-often neglected accomplishments of Black Americans in every area of endeavor throughout our history.” Black History Month is about recognizing African Americans’ struggles and achievements. The Black Experience isn’t just for black people. Our goal is to raise money to benefit our black-founded family nonprofit, International Urban Exchange Center Inc. Your generous donation will help us continue to provide empowering educational materials for FREE. Working to create a future where systemic racism no longer exists, our 501(c)(3) is on a mission to present the world with positive images of Black Americans and other people of color through educational and inspirational video content. Changing negative stereotypes into positive perceptions. Join us in making a difference.
Everyone has a story to tell. The Black Experience is a shared experience. We pride ourselves on chronicling greatness. With your support, we can continue our family nonprofit’s work. Currently, our YouTube Channel is monetized and generates minimal revenue. Additionally, we have a group of YouTube Members who support us monthly, but collectively, these revenue streams are not enough to sustain us. At this pivotal time, we are in need of financial assistance to cover operating costs. Our family staff of four is committed to sharing the whole story, highlighting all colors, and investing in the success of our community at large. The Black Experience is for all. Help us fuel the passion of our mission to provide a higher-quality and inclusive education for today’s generation. ACT NOW!
We invite you to check out some of our work below, including empowering profiles of inspiration and firsthand accounts of excellent leaders in their field.
