Dear Family, Friends, and Concerned Westlake Village Community,
As you are aware Blasé was one of the 4 children that was hit by the deranged driver at Westlake High School.
To say that our world has been turned upside down is an understatement. We are in utter disbelief that Wesley lost his life and for that we are even more devastated. We send our love and constant prayers to Wesley’s Family.
We have felt so loved since this tragic life altering event in our lives. We want each and everyone of you to know how much it has meant to our family, the love and kindness that we have experienced has been wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We contemplated asking for help and realized that at this point it is imperative after the extensive diagnosis of all 4 ligaments torn in his knee and tibia fracture. Awaiting for surgery june 5th, with minimum of 9 month recovery for Blase. His recovery will be inclusive of; surgeries, extensive physical therapy, trauma therapy, pain management, caregivers, medical supplies and more just to get him back to walking and functioning.
Blase is a bright, witty individual that loves golfing, fishing, snowboarding and many other activities that we are confident he will one day get back to!
Asking for help is very difficult, but we realized that with Jessica not being able to work as she is taking care of Blase full time, it will be infeasible to do this without it.
Thank you so very much for your kindness, generosity and prayers, we are extremely grateful and humbled.
