On August 28, 2015 the meaning of life changed for Gary & Debra and their two daughters. Gary was in a car accident and is now in critical condition, fighting for his life. That Friday morning was the same usual, good bye hugs for daddy as the girls left for school. Now, their girls are yearning to be granted access into their dad's ICU room just to see him "sleeping" and be reassured that he is still here. Debra longs to see his smile and hear his laugh. The little moments we take for granted were changed in a moment.
Gary is a loving father, a devoted husband and a hardworking, fun-loving man. He is a basketball fanatic who loves to coach his girls. He likes to be silly, make others laugh and he would gladly give the shirt off of his back to someone in need.
Debra is now Gary's primary care giver and while she is attending Gary's side at the hosptial, family is caring for their girls. While most of us plan for our regular living expenses few of us plan for catastrophes like this. If you find it in your heart to bless the Blanchett's please make a donation to help cover their current expenses while they find a new normal. When a recovery plan is in place and we have a better understanding of medical expenses I will update the financial goal.
