Help open an equitable Montessori preschool!
Blossom Montessori is made up of a team of five women working to open an inclusive, diverse Montessori preschool in northeast Los Angeles in the Fall of 2021.
We are four American Montessori Society certified teachers (with over 40 years of classroom experience) and one former Montessori preschool Mom!
We believe that every child has a right to high-quality early childhood education and that there is a growing gap between the quality of the Montessori teaching method and access to it. We hope to reduce that so, we came together to open up our own school in order to provide an equitable learning environment for all.
Our school’s mission is to cultivate conscious minds and to nurture socio-emotional development in a Montessori environment. Our school community will be diverse, inclusive of families and staff with varied socio-economic means and cultural backgrounds.
We will have 2 classrooms, each with a maximum of 20 children. Our teacher to student ratio will be 1:7.
As we open, we will be able to offer a few sliding-scale tuition spots based on need and hope to be able to expand our scholarship funds to support more families in our community.
Your support will help us to renovate our newly leased building and make two beautiful Montessori classrooms as well as design and build a nurturing outdoor play environment, all to make the best learning space possible.
Thank you so much for your support. We wouldn't be able to serve our community without your generous donations today. Every dollar raised will go directly to support young learners in northeast Los Angeles. After setting up the school, any remaining money will be used to fund our sliding-scale tuition. #SmallBusinessRelief
