A FINAL ADVENTURE

Hi, my name is Bob.  About 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Spino Cerebellar Ataxia which is a progressive, degenerative disease which effects my balance, speech and coordination among other things.  At the time my neurologist told me that I would be in a wheelchair within three to five years.  Well, that was seven years ago and I am not in a wheelchair yet!!!  I am able to get around with a walker but no wheelchair so far.   There is no treatment for this disease and there is no recovery.  So I try to live every day to the fullest that I can.
      Due to medical bills and other expenses, all the money that I had saved while I was still able to work, is now gone.  I survive on Social Security Disability which is quite a small amount.
     I have one last wish/dream.  That is to get a three wheeled motorcycle (trike) and ride all around the United States and Canada.  I have met many friends on Facebook who have offered me a bed and a meal while traveling so I would basically just need gas money and a meal a day which I could afford.  I have seen used trikes for sale for around $10 to $12k so depending what I can raise, I hope to be able to buy a trailer to pull behind that could haul my walker and camping items.
     I am hoping to raise the funds as soon as possible and start this last adventure by September or October.  I would ride through the southern states in the Winter and head north come Spring.  I will document this ride and raise money for Ataxia research.  My goal is to raise $50k for the National Ataxia Foundation .   
     If anyone knows of someone who has a motorcycle trike that they would be willing to donate or sell at a rediculously low price, please let me know.  Also if you would have a bed and a meal, that would be great also.  

I think this is my last chance to have one last adventure before the ole wheelchair creeps up on me, so I ask politely for your help!
