Jermaine Jones - Bondi 24

Hi my name is Jermaine Jones and on Saturday 5th October 2024 I’ll be running for 24 hours along the world famous Bondi Beach promenade all to raise money for Starlight Foundation (Children's Foundation) & Mindfull Aus (Mental Health Charity)

I’ve decided to title this even, Bondi 24 because of the many 24s.

Running 24 hours in 2024 all to raise $24,000 to be spilt equal between my two chosen charity.

This event is open for you all to come a join me for a short or long run. Any distance welcome.

Starlight (Children’s Foundation) :

Starlight's vision is that everyone experiences a happy childhood, because happiness matters.

Serious childhood illness doesn’t just impact a child’s health. It can turn their whole life upside down, causing them to miss out on spending time with their family, building friendships, going to school and just living their life. 

For over 30 years Starlight have used play, social connection and creativity to support children and young people in some of their toughest times and to positively change their healthcare experience.

They work alongside clinicians, wherever they go, from by the bedside in a major paediatric hospital to mobile clinics visiting remote communities. Working in partnership to deliver the best possible care for children and young people across the whole country, so that they can live their best lives.

Mindfull Aus (Mental Health) :

Mindfull Australia is dedicated to spreading the message of Acceptance & Hope in the field of mental health. They aim to reduce suicide rates and eliminate the stigma associated with mental and behavioural health. Their school programs teach children and families about recognising emotions, controlling their environments, and expressing their thoughts and feelings. Mindfull Australia seeks donations to support their work and help those in need..

I’d really appreciate any size donation to help motivate me to take on this huge challenge but most importantly raise money and awareness for my chosen charities.
