Thank you so much for  your contributions!

Terry Allen Borger was born May 4th 1964 by father Harold Borger and mother Elaine Borger in the town of Philipsburg, PA. He was a younger brother to his sister Penny who both grew up in Snow Shoe, PA. Terry graduated high school in 1982 where he decided to enlist in the United States Army. He was an administrative clerk assigned to the 4th Infantry Division (Mechanized) Artillery Headquarters at Fort Carson. While in Fort Carson Colorado he began his love for the Denver Broncos football team. While in Colorado Terry had his first two children, Shari Elaine Borger, born January 9th 1986, and Kristin Lynnette Borger, born March 9th 1987. Terry finished his service and returned back to Pennsylvania where he met a woman he fell madly in love with.

November 2nd 1991 Terry married the love of his life and best friend Jennifer Ann Troup. Together they had two additional kids, Trevor James Borger born April 27nd 1993, and Cassidy Ann Borger born July 23rd 1997. Both Terry and Jenna had such love for children they decided to foster, which led to the adoption of, Trey Borger 16, Iggy Borger age 12, Austin Borger age 11, and Javon Borger age 11.

Terry A. Borger was a dedicated husband, a wonderful father to 8 children, and a friend that anyone and everyone wanted in their life. He could make anyone smile and laugh on his or her worst days.

These are just some of the things Terry will always be remembered for:

~Terry Borger lived his life giving to his community and to our children. A beautiful soul who adopted 4 children in addition to his 4, volunteered and always helped and loved everyone!

~ I've told countless people over the years about a wonderful couple from Harvey's Lake named Terry and Jenna. I've talked about the unbelievable amount of Love for children, biological and non biological, they have shown this world. Terry and Jenna not only provided a loving home for the children but for other kids as well. God has given them a very special gift that most of us will never truly understand!.. Terry and I worked together as Cub Scout leaders with our sons. He always had time for what's really important in this life...loving and spending selfless time with "God's Children"...Things change in our lives and I haven't seen Terry as much the last few years but Jenna, you have know idea how much better this world has been having Terry in it. He truly was a remarkable man. He has shown all of us the "right" example about storing up treasures in Heaven and not on this Earth... I will miss him but Heaven has a new addition and we will meet again on the other shore!! If everyone on this earth had half the Love you guys do for God's children this world would be a much better place...

~ I too have witnesses over the last few years, the genuine LOVE and compassion they have shown towards their kids and their extended families' children. I wish our society had more "TERRY and JENNA'S in it.... HEAVEN has gained a true ANGEL in my eyes, his "MAGIC" must have been needed there... He will be missed, BUT never forgotten.... :)

~I have never in my lifetime met a husband, father, grandfather and friend like you!!!! You were truly the root of all!!! The roots you and Jenna planted blossomed in to one amazing tree full of branches..... May those branches survive this storm they are going through....and when the winds blow hard on and off in each of their lives may those roots not let them break.... And ever time I see a leaf dancing to the ground I will think of you......

Please add your memories of Terry below! He will be missed! We love you Papa Bear!
