Boston Small Biz & Restaurant Fund

My name is Will Hearty @lilwillywobbles and on February 6th at 12am I will start running 4 miles every 4 hours until I run a total of 48 miles. If the timeline is followed perfectly and do so uninterrupted, the adventure will be completed at midnight on February 7th.
.
The goal of this event is to raise awareness for the lack of help, guidance and direction to restaurants and small businesses in the City of Boston since March of 2020 when the first Covid-19 restrictions were put in place. Since that time, these organizations have done everything they have been asked to do, and are still struggling due to the challenges regarding public safety. As an individual who has worked part-time in restaurants for a large part of my adult life (having to leave the industry due to the restrictions) it is my hope that this action can help.
.
The goal of this effort is to raise $25,000. I believe as a City we can raise more.
.
The fund will go directly to assist in the payroll and cover specific outlined costs for businesses. We will be working with business owners throughout Boston to provide the needed support and hopefully a valuable lifeline.
.
This is the first charity effort I have initiated on my own, and a large part of its foundation is built on transparency with those who donate their capital. In my experience, it is frustrating to not always know where money goes, and the impact one truly has when involving themselves in a cause. My promise to anyone who donates: Every single dollar put to work will be tracked, and shared with you. In addition, I will profile a number of individuals in the businesses we impact to bring light upon a group of amazing and hardworking people in Boston
.
In the bio of my profile is a link to the GoFundMe page. Please donate and share.
.
Let’s raise some money, impact people’s lives in a positive way and move forward as a community. If you have questions, DM me
