Operation Olympic Gold

To make a long story short, we are using my business class as an avenue to generate funds for our special needs kids at McKinney Boyd and other special Olympic needs…We will use the money we raise to maximize the kids experience at this years Special Olympics, team lunches prior to sending them off to compete, designing and constructing a sensory room on campus, and much more! We are thinking big and have a lot of irons in the fire right now…In order to do what we are doing we formed a club that we call "McKinney Boyd Business Club”…The kids are working hard and are very motivated in completing our business oriented tasks during class (Public speaking, marketing, finances, event planning, charitable organizations, forms of business, business planning, social networking, etc) …this is my way of teaching business as there are many aspects of what we are doing that are directly connected to the business world and I feel that the kids are learning more by helping our Special Needs kids!
