Car Accident Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
This last weekend I was involved in a very serious car accident. By the grace of God, I didn’t have any life threating injuries but my car was totaled. The doctors are still determine the extent of my injuries. Bleeding of the brain has been ruled out! (I still have a severe concussion and significant body pain) Additional injuries are still presenting themselves which will require MRIs with the potential to need back surgery and most definitely physical therapy. Fortunately, I have health insurance but I didn't have full coverage on my car. All of this will limit my ability to work as much as I needed to make my budget for the year!
I am blessed that my family is willing to help with obtaining some form of transportation for me. . This last year I left my career in hospitality to to return to college and just finished my freshman year. I am paying for my college education on my own. With the school year fast approaching the money I have saved for books, tuition, rent, and other expenses is having to be used to cover car accident related expenses.
During the school year I work full time and take 16 units at Pacific Union College (while maintaining a 3.94 GPA) which severely limits the amount of income I can produce. This summer was supposed to be the time I could save money for the school year. I am embarrassed to have to ask for help but any donations would help to cover my lost income as well as the additional expenses such as towing and storage fees which have already totaled over $500. A donation of any amount will significantly help my situation, as well as reduce my financial stress so I can focus on healing. I thank you in advance for any support you might be willing to provide. Any money that is not used I will be donating to the student aid fund at PUC.
The car was my Grandma's so I firmly believe she was my guardian angel that day!
Humbly yours,
Bradley R. Hansen
