Help Peter pay for Brain Spect Scan

This campaign is for my loving husband Peter. He has undergone two emergency brain surgeries in the past 24 months to replace a Brain VP Shunt. (A ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt is a medical device that relieves pressure on the brain caused by fluid accumulation. VP shunting is a surgical procedure that primarily treats a condition called hydrocephalus.)
We are hopeful that he will regain his strength and return to full health and energy. Our goal is to get Peter into Dr. Daniel Amen's Clinic in the next 30 days to undergo an evaluation and get a Spect Scan that will help pinpoint the best treatment for his brain health, regain his physical energy, and improve cognitive and memory functions. We are reaching out for help because our insurance does not cover this expense and with the recent emergency brain surgery this past May our finances are tapped out.
Dr. Amen is a world renown Brain expert and we believe this Spect scan and treatment would help Peter regain his quality of life again. For the past couple of years Peter has seen several medical doctors and alternative holistic professionals in order regain his physical energy and improve memory, with little results. This scan will help to understand the level of traumatic brain injury, "TBI", he has gone through in order to determine treatment for a full recovery.
Peter is an amazing human being, an electrical contractor and a Course in Miracles teacher. He is known for his kindness, gentleness, selfless nature and his willingness to help anyone he can with kind words or an act of service. He has so much to offer his family and the world.
Its been very hard to see Peter struggle these past two years and go through surgeries that help him but have left him so fatique and increasingly depressed with cognitive and memory deterioation. He is a loving and supportive husband and a valuable member of our community. We are grateful for any amount you can give to our campaign, it would mean the world to us..
