Brendan Younk -major brain injury

This is a short summary of the Younk family...that has had to face some devastating times.

In just the last few years both a son and his mother were diagnosed with cancer. During the same month their son recieved surgery for cancer; the children’s father who runs his own landscaping business, fell off a roof while helping a neighbor. He fell head first onto concrete which lead to a severe brain injury...causing permanent disabilty.  

When their 3 children heard that they could soon loose their home, they helped out and ran their parents business while still attending school full time and making very good grades. Right after school, the 3 children go right to work landscaping, never asking for anything for themselves, but giving all of the money they earn to their mom for the household expenses. According to their mother  Lisa who also suffers from cancer like her son, “if it wasn’t for the three of them, we would be on the streets.”

Regardless of the situation, the parents continue to donate extra time to community service and they are constantly helping families in need, including my own.

NOW; On the morning on April 9th, Their son Brendan suffered a horrible car accident when he was hit by a driver running through a stop sign. Brendan was in intensive care and an induced coma. He fought very hard and made it through, but his work is not over. He will now need care for the foreseeable future. 

After all of the help they give to others...now THEY are in need. Please help them afford the financial costs of a loss of work as well as the high medical bills.  While Brendan fights to regain his memory and teach his body how to move again, his family is stuggling to have the money to pay for this VERY expensive rehabilitation program.
