Brendan Davis-Hulse Killed Parker 21 yr old

Donation protected
PARKER, Colorado -Amy Hudnall and Greg Hulse travel for work at times and received a call from their son Brendan Davis approx 9:24 pm Aug 12, 2023.

Brendan was their 21- year- old son who was on the corner of Parker Rd. & Main Street by O’Brian Park. He was on speaker phone with Amy & Greg asking for a Lyft when suddenly his voice was cut-leaving Amy & Greg to hear screams from unknown witnesses. The call he made while walking from Mainstreet headed to the crosswalk on Parker road was the last time we ever heard his voice.

”We called his phone back twice and sent a text and thought he might have had no battery left on his phone. We tried to go back to sleep” When an alert went off later-multiple Police Officers, the Douglas County Coroner’s Office team and a few Victim Advocate's approached our home to only find our 18-year-old, Aidan Davis (Brendan’s younger brother home)

Police called Amy and said “Brendan has been in an accident he was crossing The corner of O’Brien Park heading towards West crossing traffic towards the Taco Bell side of the intersection where he dodged an RV tripped and fell in ongoing traffic and while trying to get up was struck by a vehicle….A woman and her grandchild are front and center. Brendan was barely breathing and had many bystanders and witnesses to this event. The ambulance drove him asap & arrived approx 9:30 pm at Parker Adventist Hospital at 9:40 pm he was in the trauma bay in Critical condition we’re CPR and intubation occurred unfortunately Brendan succumbed to his injuries pronounced Dead at 9:54 pm Saturday Aug 12, 2023 14 minutes after arriving at the hospital and all within a short period of the call to us”

Brendan was most loved and respected by his family and friends and others in the community for being a friend to everyone “he could make you laugh, cry, dance, sing, or give the shirt off his back”

As a mother, I can tell you all the sweet things my first and oldest son was. He was not perfect but he was trying to figure out his place in this world. I can share with the world Brendan was kind, sensitive, caring and wanted to start boxing more. Brendan along with Aidan our 18 year old are the most important people in our lives. It’s a life-changing tragedy for so many who have been and are affected by what they saw, know or grew up with Brendan.

As a Emergency room nurse myself I can say that I quit my job with an email that night. I do not feel comfortable taking care of other patients with the trauma and shock of my son's death. I created the gofundme to help with the initial loss of wages from two incomes to one and Brendan's Memorial/burial expenses. As well as now me resources and part of my grieving and honoring Brendan is fighting for change. Change on Parker Road and my youngest son Aidan and God are the only things keeping me going at this time. One breath is literally so hard, sometimes nights all I do is work on initiatives because I can't sleep anyways. I won't stop until ACTION is taken and I see it. This includes 5-6 initiatives at this time working with Parker PD, CDOT, Colorado General Assembly and The Town Mayor.

We want to give Brendan the Memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes we are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Brendan’s funeral we need to raise a lump sum by Wednesday to help cover the cost of a funeral and afford funeral services thank you, Amy and Greg. Services will be held Aug. 22, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Ponderosa Valley Funeral Home 10470 So. Progress Way, Parker, CO 80134 with a reception to follow after 4:00 pm at the home of Ricki Guida 5964 Wood Sorrel Way, Littleton, CO 80123.
