Britton went to heaven early to be with his Daddy
Donation protected
With a broken heart, I am updating this fundraiser to inform anyone who hasn’t heard, Shannon and Jacobs youngest son Britton passed away unexpectedly. Baby Britton and his daddy are together once again. Shannon and her two older sons Brantley and baker now are having to endure the loss of Jacob and now Britton. When they were hit with the loss of Jacob we all came together as a community and friends to show them that they are very loved and they aren’t alone, that they have the support from all of their friends, family, and even strangers. Unfortunately none of us could imagine that life would be even more cruel with no time to allow this family to breathe. Britton was a happy smiling healthy baby boy who was so very loved by many. The loss of his precious life is a complete shock to us all. I can only imagine the amount of pain Shannon and her family are feeling. I’m asking again to you all to help Shannon and her family to be able to financially handle this unexpected tragedy. Anything is greatly appreciated and all proceeds go directly to Shannon. Even if you aren’t able to donate, pray for the hearts of all effected by the passing of Britton. I have updated the goal amount. Not specific to anything so any amount raised is going to help significantly.

On April 5th Shannan and Jacob booked their wedding venue. They had been planning their wedding for April of 2023. They had a life planned and hopes and dreams ahead of them.. and the kind of love for eachother that you only find once in this life..
Shannan shared the news of their wedding on Facebook with friends and family. Jacob and shannan put their three boys to bed that night and chose the design for the invitations to their wedding. They joked and laughed and said their “I love you’s” with the hope of a lifetime together. On April 6th Shannan received a phone call that she never fathomed. Jacob was in an accident while at work and didn’t make it.
Shannan and Jacob met when She started working back at Medford nursing home. He was the cook & She was a CNA. They started dating in May of last year & when Jack first met Shannans two boys, Brantley & Baker they immediately clicked. Shannan instantly knew that he was the one that She was meant to spend forever with. They found out She was pregnant in June & found out it was yet another boy, in Aug. Jacob and shannan were so excited to add another boy to their already wild bunch. And in February of 2022 Britton was born.
Jacob proposed in March of this year & together they were so excited to be planning a wedding! They had their whole life planned out. Jacob was everything to Shannan and the boys. He would go to work from sun up to sundown & go home and still cook dinner while She chased the kids or picked up the house. He was the main provider for their family and home. Shannan and the kids absolutely adored him. He was such a good dad.. always taking the boys outside to play tball, or taking them down to the park. Wrestling around with them before bedtime & helping out with baths.. Shannan never imagined a day that he wouldn’t be a part of. He was her soulmate & the one She was supposed to spend the rest of her life with.
Like many families Jacob and Shannan didn’t have any kind of savings in case of an emergency, Jacob worked to make a living and they lived by their means and handled life day to day. Shannan now has to figure out how she is going to manage life on her own, all the while now being the only support and parent to her three boys who now no longer have their daddy around. Shannan is resilient and with time I know that she will do whatever she can to continue to take care of her boys and honor Jacob. But right now she shouldn’t have to worry about wether or not her electricity is going to be shut off next week, or if she will be able to put gas in her car to get the kids where they need to be. She no longer gets to plan her dream wedding…. She doesn’t get to pick out her wedding dress or walk down the isle.. she has to bury the love of her life and tell her three boys something they shouldn’t ever have to be told. Shannan needs our support in anyway right now. Even if you aren’t able to help financially, keeping her and the boys in your prayers helps. Shannan has a long road and the plans she had for their life together were taken too soon..
Any and all proceeds go directly to Shannan and the boys. They will be used for everyday expenses that Jack used to take care of. Anything helps right now. And every bit is so appreciated. The amount chosen was not specific to any goal. Any amount raised will be helpful.
