Janaza Expenses for Brother Sophonnut (Muhammad)

Brother Sophonnut Dy (Muhammad Pin. Fannasy), age 13, from Cambodia, living in Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away. Brother Muhammad was last seen near Duck Bridge in Lawrence on March 13, and his body was found in the Merrimack River this past Sunday, May 3, 2020.
His family, an immigrant family from Cambodia, is devastated at the loss of their child, and are having difficulties paying for the cost of the Janaza. We have set up a donation page online to collect funding. Please donate generously. He is our brother, and they are our family. In the event of surplus donations received, the additional donations will go to the Al-Marhama Needy fund to help future families in need to pay for the burial expenses. In recent weeks, Al-Marhama has received several cases where families could not afford the total cost of the Janaza, and we have used the Al-Marhama Needy Fund to assist the families in covering the cost, any surplus donations will help us in replenishing the Needy Fund.

Due to the ongoing health crisis and restriction of large gatherings, his Janaza Prayer and Burial will be limited to immediate family members only, and not open to the public.
O Allah, forgive him and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. O Allah, exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family. Admit him in Paradise as his ultimate home, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the fire. O Allah, grant patience to his family and friends and provide them with strength and strong iman to recover from this difficult loss. Ameen.
