Bryant HeywardMy name is Nathaniel Heyward I am the uncle of Bryant Heyward. On May 7, 2015, Bryant Heyward was shot by the police while still on the phone with 911, whom he had just call due to a robbery at his own home. Bryant needs to go to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia from Charleston, South Carolina for treatment.
Bryant is a well mannered young man who never got in trouble. He works hard to help his mother. He is only 26 years old and still has his whole life ahead of him. This is Bryant's story and I am telling it because he can't speak for himself. Because of this terrible incident, he will have to learn how to live as a paraplegic for the rest of his life.
