Help build the FIRST community pollinator education hub

Bee lovers, butterflies lovers, gardeners, parents, children…in collab with the UC Davis Master Beekeeper program I am a Burbank mom, small business owner and beekeeper, adding an education hub on Magnolia Blvd in Burbank Los Angeles. It’s a perfect place for parents to grab a quiet Saturday morning coffee break next door while the kids learn about bees and earth friendly choices. When you walk in to this education hub, visitors will be able to go through an exhibition of 7 to 9
interactive learning stations exploring themes like how bees pollinate 1/3 of our food, how honey is made and FAQs.
So much of caring for bees involves ALL of our senses and is the foundation of an ancient symbiotic relationship between humans and bees. Bees and humans are not just about the taste of sweet honey on our tongue or the fear of being stung.
We’re connected by the sound when the bees click over to a different pitch of buzzing in our ears, the smell of the air when thousands of bees flap their wings in a hive… a fascinating perspective enjoyed by beekeepers but unknown to the public until now, with this immersive education hub. The working title is, “Fear to Fascination: Bees Among Us” about, all geared towards empowering individuals to make earth friendly choices and unlearn misinformation about bees and how to make an earth friendly impact right here in our neighborhood.
