Help C4 Nightclub keep the doors open

Well here we are.
6 years it’s been.. what a roller coaster of fun! I’m not even sure where to start this “story” but imma try..
if you’ve been to C4 pre-pandemic you know it was a fun safe space for all. If it was open and after 11pm it was hard to see the floor of the dance floor. Now at 11 the floor is empty. I fell that’s where I want to start bc that floor for so many years has brought so much joy to so many. Before it was C4 it was Speakeasy. Speakeasy was where I found myself most comfortable and able to publicly claim my identity. I was one of many. When myself and two friends purchased Speak from my barmom in 2014 - we knew we wanted to keep that feeling of safe and clean you got from Speak but wanted to grow on the idea of “Be you!” We wanted to be all welcoming and not technically label ourselves as to limit our interactions with humans. My ideal world is one where people from all walks can be around each other and learn from one another to a point where we can accept and grow. That’s where we started... We threw in some neon, some liquor, maybe a wig or two and let’s not forget karaoke. C4 Nightclub & Longe was born! We opened the doors December 19th 2014 for our soft opening - planning on 200 people.. I was manager and a bartender that night thinking I could do both.. well I was wrong 400 people in I realized I had horribly messed up! Bit more off than I could chew! Thankfully some of my friends from a local restaurant (Jose’s) had come to check on me and saved my butt! They jumped behind the bar helped sling drinks and I was able to call tech support as to why our PRINTERS & CASH DRAWERS WASN'T WORKING!! Over 600 people later - we had two bud lights left in the building - it was 2am and the night was over... we laughed. We cried. I realized I didn’t even know how to reset a a cash drawer! But C4 was live! It’s fast paced exciting energy that doesn’t always work but is 100% built on community.. you see what I did there? Why I told that story? Community! If it wasn’t for my Jose’s barfam coming to the rescue I’m not sure how that night would have ended. I had bit off more than I could chew but my friends - my family saved me! For the past six years - C4 has been that community for so many. Sure we are a “Nightclub & Lounge” but that’s just our day job! Like a parental figure they have a job but that’s not their label. We sell libations so we can provide for our community! From having a good time dancing to singing karaoke. Story time on the patio to drag queens on the floor. All of that is to bring joy and good times to our little corner of the world. Providing all that good time had made us popular. Enough so we were able to give back. And give back we did. From helping the humane society, woman’s shelter, many local non profits, and many directly thru community outreach of free HIV testing, Friendsgiving, Pride Cookouts, we even did grocery delivery during the pandemic! All of this we funded by our communities support of us! 2020 pandemic has hit us hard. Being that our only means of income is one of the worst industries affected - it’s been very hard. Ihave personally funded, spent tons of hours trying to make things work, get funding with state and federal groups. But even with that small support the bills are just more than what our restrictions are allowing us to make. It’s a double edge blade bc I believe science. I don’t want my community sick. But I also know our space is needed by many, it’s a second home. So we need your help! Please donate anything you can. If you can’t donate, share! Maybe someone on your social media can!
