Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia Awareness Month '23

Hello,

My name is Noah, and my son Izaac has salt-wasting CAH. This was a shock to myself and my wife, as we had no idea what Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia was or what it could do. It turns out that if we were not told, we would have said goodbye to our son without knowing the real reason why. In Australia, they have only started to test for this disease within the last two years. This life-saving test could save many more lives and unfortunately, it is not a standard in still Australia or worldwide. With this GoFundMe, I want to raise $15,000 to then donate to some local charities, support groups, and organisations to help raise more awareness and research into this disease, and other rare diseases, so that other parents can be better equipt with the knowledge and education they need. This is no worse than any other disease, but this one hits closer to home as it is family and my son. I want to help make a difference and will be doing so as the years go on. This will hopefully be the first of many events I do as June is the awareness month for CAH.
