Arson at Colwyn Bay Cricket Club - Fundraiser

Donation protected
During the early hours of Friday 20th May the "Tea Pavilion" - the oldest building on the site - was targeted by mindless vandals in an arson attack. The damage is extensive and the property will very likely have to be demolished. Luckily no one was injured and the perpetrators were caught.

The Tea Pavilion is predominantly used by a number of community groups and charities, who will be without a venue for the time being. As a valuable community asset, the Club are intent on rebuilding a bigger, better, and more modern facility on the site – if funds, permissions etc permit.

Whilst insurance will hopefully go a long way towards our goal, the Club will have to contribute funds in order to achieve the best possible outcome. We have been inundated with offers of help and support, and so have created this page as a straightforward way of facilitating those generous offers.

Colwyn Bay Cricket Club is owned and run by its members, and an integral part of the Rhos-on-Sea community for nearly 100 years. You can also support us by becoming a member of the Club – for less than £1 a week. Please see our website or contact the Membership Secretary for further details.

Thank you.
