Transfer Dog Fund
Tax deductible
We are so excited to import some dogs to CCHS!
We are working with a shelter in Missouri to save some dogs. Kennett County, Missouri is an area where there isn't a lot of money but a huge surplus of dogs. Sadly, spay and neuter isn't too common or popular down there, which leads to a lot of unwanted pets. Even though they take in TONS of dogs and try to help them all, they rarely have dogs adopted and rely on transfer partners to help out. CCHS is so proud to be one of those transfer partners!
Our first transport of the year will be on April 21st and we can't wait! We rent a nice big UHaul van and head down to meet the crew in Wisconsin that night. The best feeling in the world is arriving back at the shelter in the wee hours of the morning with a bunch of furry faces, knowing they are safe and will be taken care of. We know our adopters are the best! :)
Now we ask for your help. As you can probably guess, it's not cheap to transport and get all of the dogs medical care for whatever they need in order to have them ready for their new forever homes. But, we think they are so worth it. If you can help at all, we'd appreciate it so much. As always, thank you for your amazing generosity. We look foward to sharing new photos with you when the dogs become Yoopers!
