CSE has just completed its limited SOLD OUT performance run as part of Broadway Bound Theatre Festival 2021 and an Encore performance 2022 at Theatre Row, West 42nd St, NYC. Although unsuitable for 18 years and under, its message of womanhood, racism and survival speaks volumes to audience members and reflects the trying times of the past and the world we live in today.
With the success of the critically acclaimed show, we would like to share the message with your family, friends and colleagues. It would be a pleasure for the cast and crew to perform for your circles. We look forward to correspondence to discuss details.

SYNOPSIS: It’s 1859 and in the heart of old New York is Cherry House, named after its proprietress, Miss Cherry. A proud and free African American entrepreneur in misogynistic, racist pre-Civil war America, Miss Cherry’s business is booming, and life was far from complications. Or so she thinks. Trouble came to town when a Southern rogue attacked one of the girls; a fugitive slave wanted for murder. Miss Cherry’s remarkable ability to navigate a hostile world is tested when she’s faced with backlash from the law, threats from a greedy bounty hunter and losing the man she loves by risking everything to do the right thing.
Your donations will go directly toward executing a successful production of our play and help revitalize the once vibrant Off-Broadway ecosystem that is still reeling from the impact of the COVID shutdown.
