Support for the Lopez family

On Saturday July 26, Charles was in a terrible motorcycle accident. He was airlifted to USC hospital where he is still currently being treated for his injuries. He has a crushed pelvis and sternum, damage to his spinal column and nerves, punctured lungs, a hole in his heart and damage to multiple organs causing internal bleeding. Saturday evening Charles had a long surgery to stop all the internal bleeding. Sunday they operated to fix the hole in his heart and on Monday he had an 8 hour back surgery. His pelvis surgery will be in a day or two. They are waiting for his blood counts to stabalize as he has had multiple blood transfusions to try and keep up with all the blood loss. Chales has been sedated and will remain that way until after his next surgery. So far he is hanging in there and proving to be a fighter like we knew he would!

As I'm sure you can imagine, the Lopez family will be facing some hefty medical bills. Charles will have an intense recovery process that will require a lot of out of pocket expenses. It would be such a blessing if Amy could focus more on Charles and his recovery and less on how she is going to pay these bills. 
Charles was the soul provider for his wife Amy and 7 year old daughter Charlie. Not only will Amy be weighed down with insanely expensive medical bills, but she also will be struggling to get the everyday bills paid. Her vehicle isn't in the best condition and she needs a reliable vehicle to get to and from USC hospital. This money would also go to help make that possible.

No amount of money is too great or too small. Every little bit helps make life easier for this family who is going through so much right now.
