Comfort Bags 4 Kids and Essential Workers

Donation protected
As people across the globe pull together to contribute to helping the world heal from the COVID-19 pandemic, 12-year-old C.J. Matthews wants to do his part. As the creator of his long-running project, Blankies 4 My Buddies and a #GTKids leader, he is participating in #GivingTuesdayNow on May 5, 2020, a global day of generosity and unity, a day to come together and give back in response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19, no matter who or where we are.

C.J. has committed to supporting homeless children in Atlanta during this time and is raising funds to provide what he calls "Comfort Bags"  to help homeless children in Atlanta to cope with social distancing. The bags will include items such as handmade masks, hand sanitizer, healthy snacks, and activities like stuffed toys or pillows, books, coloring books, crayons, etc. Of over 13,000 homeless people in Atlanta, nearly 3,000 of them are children living in shelters and in homeless encampments. C.J.'s goal is to impact as many kids as he can get to and he needs your help to make the project a success. More than that, the kids need all of our support. Thank you in advance. Your help is greatly appreciated. Any amount helps!
