David Swinehart funeral 30 year friend of Bill W.

Hi, my name is Mike. My sister Caryn and I are fundraising for funeral expenses for my father(30+ year friend of Bill W.) who passed away unexpectedly on October 1st from complications of COVID. He was a heart transplant patient 15 years ago and had been doing everything he needed to do to stay safe but due to his weakened immune system, it wasn't enough. We were able to speak to him on the phone on the evening of September 30th and he passed the next day. It happened so fast and nothing can prepare you for the dad-shaped hole in your life.

He was greatly loved by his family and his dog Mac who is waiting for him to come home and throw the ball.

We are asking for help with funeral expenses as his small insurance policy doesn't quite meet the costs. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. Also my dad was approximately 30+ years sober. I can’t count the number of people he helped get sober. Please help him in his time of need.
