This is a great time for the CP Trojan Brigade! Our Spirt, Pride, and Tradition is shining through! Thank you all for your support!
SPIRIT – PRIDE – TRADITION! These are the words that come to mind when you hear “Castle Park High School.” Not only do these words characterize a local school, it characterizes an entire community within the City of Chula Vista, CA. One of the hallmarks of Tradition is the Castle Park High School Trojan Brigade, an award-winning band and color guard. For years, the Castle Park HS Trojan Brigade has been a fixture at many band competitions, community events, parades, and even made several appearances in the annual Rose Bowl Parade.
The Trojan Brigade and Guard currently consists of 50 dedicated and talented students for the 2018-2019 school year. A renewed sense of SPIRIT, PRIDE, and TRADITION is making a comeback for the Trojan Brigade, and with it, a new sense of purpose and goals.
This year, the Castle Park Trojan Brigade and Guard have been invited to participate in the CALIFORNIA STATE BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS! We will be performing in the 2A Semi-Finals on Saturday, November 10th at El Modena High School in Orange, CA, and the Championships will be held on Saturday, November 17th at Newport Harbor High School.
The parents of the Castle Park High School Trojan Brigade have established this GoFundMe page in order cover the costs of transportation, entrance fees, and meals for this event. We are setting a goal of $5,000.00 to cover these costs. Your donations will help us meet our goals!
If you have any questions, or if you want to make an offline donation, you may contact Rosemarie Larson on Facebook or email me via this page. You may also contact director Richard Kellis on Facebook.
Thank you very much for your support! And remember – “Once a Trojan, Always a Trojan.”
