A Cure For Cooter (Corey Berry)

This page was created to alleviate the costs and hardships for Corey Berry (Cooter) and his family. Corey was diagnosed in 2011 with Stage 4, Squamous Cell Carcinoma Tonsilar Cancer. He received radiation and chemotherapy over the next year and was cancer free in March of 2012. In July of 2013 he received the news that the cancer had returned and spread from the tonsils to the throat, tongue and lymph nodes. He is currently undergoing assessment and treatment at the Dallas Veterans Hospital. As it stands his options are limited other than life altering surgery that would render him unable to work in the near future and even after surgery the survival rate for this case is 25%. Corey is a 10 year veteran of the United States Air Force where he served all over the world. He is a lifelong resident of Azle, Texas and loves the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. He holds his friends and family as the most precious thing in life and he needs your help.
