Bryan's Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
My name is Bryan Young and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 1523 in Annandale, Va. I am raising money to pay for the materials and supplies for my Eagle Project.
My Eagle project involves the removal and rebuild of a 120-foot long retaining wall which lines the path connecting our community pool to the neighborhood. The beneficiary of my project is the Canterbury Woods Swim and Tennis Club.
The funding will be used to purchase new wood, supplies and materials to remove the old wall, dispose of it and build the new wall. In order to complete my project on schedule for December 3rd, I am hoping to raise the money by mid-November.
One of the most important parts of completing an Eagle scout project is to help give back to the community. This wall is over forty years old, and is collapsing onto the path where members of the community walk, bike, and travel to the pool. It would really mean a lot to me and my community to raise funding to complete this project.
Like most things, it takes a lot of people to come together to complete a project. But it also takes funding.
I am hoping that my community, scout troop, family and friends will support me with this project. If i do not raise enough funding to buy the supplies for this project, it may not happen. Please consider helping me to support Canterbury Woods Pool and make this project a success.
Thank you so much!
Yours in Scouting,
Bryan Young
