On January 16 Cale Wallace was involved in a life threatening motorcycle accident. While on his home after spending the day with his father cale collided into back of a drunk driver mangled vehicle after driver had crashed into the center divider on the 71 hwy just past Grand ave exit . Traveling around 70mph cale clipped the corner of the downed vehicle ,tossing him over 100feet onto the dark highway crashing into the emergency lanes brick wall .medical personal acted quickly with transporting cale to Pomona valley emergency room due to traumatic brain swelling and suspected of internal bleeding . During the ambulance ride cale was not only having multiple seizures but also was non responsive to medical personnel . With so much swelling to the brain and not being able to re gained consciousness cale was put into A drug-induced coma. After 5 days cale was slowly brought back from his head injury just to start with the multiple surgeries he would undergo from shattering every bone in his right foot . Ending with multiple bone fusions . His left foot suffered multiple fractures resulting in 2 screws and a plate . With a right color bone dislocated, cale has a long road to recovery . However while having this accident during a pandemic cale needed to start his rehabilitation process with out any visitors due to COVID 19
If you’ve ever met Cale you know he is one tuff individual. Growing up racing dirt bikes he is no stranger to broken bones with already having a right hip replacement and left femur rod ,cale’s desire to physically overcome his injuries has amazed us all
cale story is a little different this time. Not only is he having to heal physically with learning how to walk again. But he is also having a hard time with his speech . We all know brain injuries are a little more sensitive . He has denied our willingness to help financially Butt I believe his recovery would benefit with not having to think about his medical expenses .So I’m hopping his friends can come together and help him through his road to recovery … Donations given will be paid to his 35 days spent in hospital multiple surgeries to his feet ,speech and physical therapy
Thank you
