The grand opening of Camera Ready Kutz, Inc. as a storefront barbershop is long overdue!!

I have found a lovely, cozy space in Crown Heights near transportation that has the potential to become a solid fixture in the community as CRK. I have been kutting hair from one of the bedrooms in my apt for the past 8 years and it's time to expand. My passion has been to create a comfortable, clean, inviting and open barbershop experience for LGBTQAI folks...that is straight friendly of course ;) and having this storefront will help make that happen as well as provide a place for other LGBTQAI beauty practitioners to service their clients...I plan to have more barbers, a beautician and eventually a nail tech, along with more products and other services available. I've already had quite a few people ask about working at Camera Ready Kutz, Inc from as far as London, England & Trinidad and closer to home in the US. It's time for me to be able to say "Yes, I have a booth for you".
The space I am interested in also has a separate room that will allow me to have a tattoo artist, masseuse or any other new service available monthly or weekly for folks to enjoy.

The money collected will go towards...Renovations, start up rents and security, equipment, furniture & fixtures, signage, security system, insurance, products, advertising and marketing.
