Kelvin Need your Help!

Please help Kelvin Smith in my fight against blood cancer.

This unexpected journey began in February of this year after problems with sleeping lead me to get help from a chiropractor. On my second visit, my neck was adjusted (cracked) and the following week I was experiencing pain in my arms. The pain dominated for up to six weeks and overtook my ability to sleep. My doctors gave me pills for several weeks to treat my symptoms. An MRI revealed a fracture in my neck which my doctors labeled as life-threatening. I was immediately rushed into a 12-hour surgery in which a mass was removed from my spine. Based on the biopsy of this removed mass, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma which is a blood cancer.

At the age of 64, navigating these intense treatments, medical expenses and emotional drain has been an overwhelming challenge. It has turned my life upside down as I fight this battle while living alone.

I am dealing with the cost associated with my treatment, which consists of chemotherapy and radiation therapy. I have a less-than-par (crappy) automobile to make my appointments. Every day I muster up the strength to keep fighting and maintain a positive attitude, yet I cannot fight this battle alone. I need the help of my friends, family and even compassionate strangers. I humbly ask for your support in this difficult time.
