This has been updated at the request of my cousin, Carla, who this fundraiser was started for. She and her husband Brian will be the recipients of any gift you give. Thank you for opening and reading this fundraiser. I am honoring a request to keep the name of the recipient anonymous due to a limited number of people being aware of this. They are not ready to discuss this publicly but are in dire need of help. I asked & was granted permission to reach out to my friends and family. I told them that there is an entire community of kind people that can help and want to help but they can't if they aren't aware of a need.

This person is a close family member who has recently been given a diagnosis of bone marrow cancer. We found out at a Memorial that was being held for another family member that we had just lost to cancer. She is a Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Aunt and Dear Friend to many. This fundraiser is set up to help her and her husband not only pay for treatment, but to pay for travel to & from, and lodging during treatments. Her Doctor is in another city so she leaves her family and goes to her treatments that require overnight stays (they require 2-3 days each). She is awaiting a disability approval but in the meantime, her husband is working so hard and doing so much to not only try to cover their normal everyday expenses, but also, cover her medical treatments and travel and lodging.

They are an incredibly kind, generous, loving family and have always been there for many others throughout the years. I would love to see the kindness and generosity returned in a grand way! The dollar amount I chose for this fundraiser is just a beginning. I can't even begin to know how much they truly need but anything will certainly help!
