Cassie's Ambassador Trip to Canada

My name is Cassandra Estep, and I am an 11-year-old 6th grader at Gravette Middle School. I am writing to you about an extremely special opportunity. I have been selected to become a People to People Student Ambassador. Next summer, I will join a delegation of students my age on a 12-day educational program that will take us through the Canadian West. We will be led by experienced teachers. I am excited to experience the Wonders of the Canadian West. I want to go to Canada to learn about the Canadian people and their country. Our academic focus will include Anthropology, Archeology, Architecture, Art, Conservation, Geology, History, Oceanography, and Political science. We will get to track killer whales with naturalists, sleep in a teepee after hearing stories from Blackfoot people, and make our own obsidian arrowhead with guidance from an archaeologist.
