Celebrating the Life of Al Townsend

Al lost his 8 month battle with cancer Wednesday morning. Thank you to everyone who has supported Zarina during this painful and scary time. Any support, whether hugs, texts, or contributing to his memorial would be again so very appreciated ❤️

Zarina’s dad Al (many of you might know him as Owl) is currently fighting a scary and painful battle against cancer. Zarina has selflessly dedicated every ounce of her being to his care since his diagnosis in February. She has been his primary caregiver, taking him to and from weekly appointments between Tucson and Pheonix, coordinating care between multiple providers, taking him to the emergency department more than any one can imagine, and as of the past couple of months, she has been providing 24/7 care. As you can imagine, a cancer diagnosis of a loved one is absolutely devastating. The sacrifices Zarina has made to take care of her father have been truly selfless. Zarina is one of my absolute best friends with the sweetest and purest soul and I know that any type of support, whether a check in, a cooked meal, kind words, or financial support would

help tremendously. While talking about finances is never fun, caring for someone with cancer often means having to take time away from work, and really any little bit helps ❤️
