Carol Sivils Memorial Bench in NKC's Macken Park

As friends of Carol, we wanted to ensure her memory lived on in the community she loved. So, we thought it was only fitting to place a bench in her honor at NKC's Macken Park. Working with the NKC Parks & Recreation, we've identified a spot where the bench will be placed along with a memorial plaque and tree.

We know of so many friends and family that want to participate in this celebration of Carol's life, we have set up this GoFundMe for folks who want to donate to help cover the cost. Any monies collected in excess of the bench cost will be donated to NKC Parks & Recreation.

Please join us at the "Celebrating Carol" event at the Cinder Block Brewery (in the Reclamation Room at 110 E 18th Ave, NKC) on Saturday April 27, 2024 from 1-4 pm. Cash bar and live music by the Blackouts.
