Death of Chad Friess
Donation protected
On January 6th, Chad Allen Friess was called home, by the Lord, unexpectedly. He leaves behind: his son, Cassius, his finance Shawna & Shawna’s daughter Madison. Chad & Shawna had plans of unifying their love, this month, through marriage. Chad and Shawna spent the past 5.5 years blending their families, as well as creating their own. Chad treated Madison as if she was his own and Shawna did the same with Cassius. Through many ups and downs, Chad & Shawna stuck by each other sides and were on a path of doing better for themselves.
Chad was known for his HUGE hugs. A gentle giant, he had a big presence and an even bigger smile. Chad was someone who wanted better for himself. He was a member of the recovery community and in his time in recovery, achieved such things as: obtaining his driver’s license, fully custody of his son and becoming manager of Taco Bell. Chad loved his family and friends who had become family. One who was no stranger to struggle, Chad always picked himself up and tried again. He had a passion for cooking, welding, practical jokes and had a strong faith in the Lord. Chad was taken far too soon and had so much more life to live.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 12th at 11am at the Peterson Funeral and Cremation Services in Cadillac. Family and friends are asked to gather, at the funeral home, one hour prior to services to share memories together.
A go fund me has been set up to help Shawna continue working towards a better life for their blended families & help cover any final costs. Contributions are greatly appreciated, however not expected. Anything to help Shawna continue moving forward, which includes finding housing, for Cassius and Madison would be a big help.
