Siobhan needs a new power wheel chair.
Suffering from a life-long debilitating degenerative neurological disorder, Friedreich's Ataxia, she needs a new power wheel chair in order to maintain her mobility.
She recently found out her insurance company declined her new chair claiming there is no medical necessity. The typical chair procurement process takes 6 to 9 months and she has been dealing with her attempt to get a new chair for 14 months.
The chair she uses now is from 2008 and is unreliable.
