To raise funds for medical items not covered

Hi, my name is Chandra Dubay.

I’m raising funds for medical supplies and medications that will be needed and are not covered by any system or healthcare coverage.

I’ve been in the hospital since August 1, 2022 and I have lost mobility in my lower torso.

I’m going to be in need of a properly fitted wheelchair, a stand up walker because I am trying to get my mobility back and this will be the only way I will be able to walk in my home, some smaller items to function at home. 

I will also need to get a chair that can raise me up from a seated position to the upright walker. And there are other medical items that will be needed because in order to get in and out of my vehicle, I will need to have a a mechanical platform to raise me up, either into a seat, or to raise the wheelchair up into the vehicle.

 If they can’t figure this out, exactly how to make it happen then a van will have to be purchased that has the mechanical platform already in place. If that’s the case, I will have to update the GoFundMe fundraiser. 

Smaller items will include a four footed cane when I get to that point that I can use one, grabbers, a grab bar for on the bed, a proper shower chair and other items once I get home. 

Having been in the hospital since August 1, 2022 this is been a long ordeal and has taken a toll on my finances and my well being of course. 

Any donations at all, big, or small, would truly be truly appreciated. I never ask for help, but this time I think I have to.
