Chano “Shorty” Sanchez Memorial Fund

After a hard-fought battle with COVID-19, that led to unexpected complications, we are devastated to share that Chano, or as many of you knew him, Shorty, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, December 1. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son and friend loved by all. Shorty was always cheerful and always put his family first. He was a pillar of the community, as was demonstrated by his constant willingness to help those in need- whether they be friends or strangers.

Chano was a strong man, the strongest many would say they knew. He worked hard and his last few weeks were no different. He fought as hard as he could and held on until his family was able to say goodbye. But in the end, his heart was just not quite strong enough. His death was sudden and unexpected.

Chano will missed by many, but most of all by his wife, Susana, three children, Brenda, Edi, Chano, and six grandchildren.

Please consider helping out his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Donations will go directly to his wife, Susana Gutierrez to help with end of life costs and future expenses.
