American Era Museum in Chateauroux

Please help us perpetuate the American presence in Chateauroux, France, from 1951 to 1967, by establishing a permanent museum owned and  by the city of Chateauroux. We need fund Euros to pay the utilities and maintenance on space for a downtown museum . We are collecting funds to create a museum that depicts the history of the American military and dependants in Chateauroux, France, during the Cold War.  Chateauroux c’était l’Amérique, an association in Chateauroux France, organized in late 2014 by three men (Yves Bardet, Mike Gagne, and Jean-Claude Prot) with a mission to create a museum owned by the City of Chateauroux and operated by the Chateauroux C'était l'Amérique association.
